Mezzanine Financing/ Equity Financing

Mezzanine Financing

This financing vehicle is used to expand a company's liquidity or complete a real estate project. Unlike a traditional loan that is solely secured against the real estate asset, a mezzanine loan is secured by a pledge, or assignment, of the property's ownership entity.

Equity Financing

A higher leveraged financing option used when the existing senior lender prohibits subordinated debt financing or when an owner/developer is looking for a joint venture partner.
